  • Books on target panic

Hi all. I’m commencing a research project (examining whether reinvestment offers a potential explanation for target panic).

I’m looking for a solid reference with an explanation of target panic. Are there any books that people know of that specifically address this?

I think you'll be at a loss to find a bunch of references that agree.
However, Idiotproof Archery by Bernie Pellerite is one.
    This is another.

I did see that second one. There’s a lot of material out there on the yips in golf but not much written by anyone reputable that says “target panic is a thing that exists in archery.” Despite endless forum topics about it and every coach I’ve talked to describing some sort of related phenomenon even if they decline to use those exact words.

you may find more subject matter on the subject in rifle hunting. it's the same concept, but a much wider user base.

Clint Freeman's book has a section on this and how to overcome it.
