  • Archery Demands Practice a Lot

    Archery is a technical game, starting like crazy and then ended up with bad performance is not favorable at all. Archery demands a lot of practice before you participate in any event. You have to practice with changing distances so that you can improve your skills.
    Holding your breath while leaving the arrow is the key to accuracy. Estimating the distance and then releasing arrow accordingly is the main thing for good performance.

      Archery is a sport that can be fun but it is also physically demanding for those wishing to focus or excel on this kind. It really needs lots of training and practice to help you to gain control over your balance. However, it can be practice in an outdoor or indoor

              I practice every day until Im worn out. When i got my bow, even set to its minimum settings I had a hard time drawing it. Now been able to shoot for 30 mins to a hour. Now that I’ve gotten over that draw hump now trying to perfect my accuracy. This sport and hobby does require regular practice, and commitment. However it is rewarding, and such a excellent stress relief.

                Practise for the sake of practise is IMHO a waste of time. You must practise good form to have any real chance of improving. I spend one day purely concentrating on my release, the next on my bow hand, the next on keeping my shoulder low and relaxed and so on. Practising until you're worn out can lead to issues with poor form, dropping your bow arm, torquing the bow and snatching the release. Set yourself achievable goals everyday and work towards those. I've found that is the best way to improve. Maintaining good form is difficult and that's what you should be working on everytime you go out to practise. And of course.... have fun doing it
