Archery Victoria trialed an online system to handle the state team selection this year.
The aims for the system were
• Make the archers responsible for their own score submissions
• Make it easy to administrate
• Show people how they were going
• Keep selection transparent.
AV used it for the indoor team and it seemed to work well. QRE's were booked out across the state. 84 competitors submitted close to 500 scores with the sole administrator completing the task the night the events closed.
It leverages the strength of archers diary while also allowing for non-AD events as well.
It also kept competitors updated with upcoming QRE's.
While being developed was hosting just on my 30030x.com website for those that want to have a look.
